Mumbai was buzzing with its usual chaos. The roads glistened from the sunshine due to the recent drizzle. Birds were chirping around, dogs and cats were wandering playfully. The pleasant aroma of the street food spread through the air, tempting passersby with its rich, savory scent. Students and employees were walking to their respective destinations. Cars, school buses, autos, scooties and bikes sped across the roads.

Arhaan and his family with suraj, shalini, Samarthya and aniket had come back from Delhi after 12 long years. The Malhotra Enterprises has now grown into a bigger and more famous company. As the company grew, Gulabo, Chavi, Nikhilesh and Ranvijay's hunger and greed started growing too. Finally the Malhotras were back and they were ready to do what they had waited to do for years.

THE CHAUHAN'S HOUSE

For 12 years Suraj, Shalini, Rudra, and Aradhya had each others back and did not let the distance break their friendship. They would call or meet each other during business trips. Their kids had lost touch and maybe even forgotten but their memories always lingered in their minds awaiting for their reunion. The elders had planned to surprise their kids with a small reunion. So, they did not tell their kids about each other or the return.

The spiritual rhythms of prayers spread across the house. The house was decorated with fairy lights and marigold flowers. Everybody had forgotten about all their work and stress. Aradhya waved the aarti thali in a circular motion, clock-wise 2-3 times, while the Shalini, Suraj, Radha and Abhigyan were standing outside.

They entered while Shalini waved her hand towards them spreading the sacred flames and prayer towards them and they waved their heir palm over the diya and took the blessings from the fire and then they swayed their hands above their heads. Then they joined their hands, closed their eyes and took a few steps while Shalini and Suraj showered them with marigold and rose petals. Then they went towards Gulabo and Ranvijay and touched their feet, they touched their heads one by one and gave them their blessing. After that they went towards others...

"Shaluuuuuu" Aradhya exclaimed and hugged her

"Aruuu" Shalini replied and hugged her back. Their husbands smiled greeted each other and patted each other's back.

"Radha!?" "Payal!?" they both shouted making everyone turn at them

"Tu yaha kaise!?"

"Phele tu bata"

"Shalini meri bhabhi hai"

"Aur Aradhya meri"

"Tum dono ek dusre ko jaante ho!?" Gulabo asks curiously

"Haa..Hum log same college mein jaate the" Payal says goes to hug Radha and she hugs her back.

"Ohh.." Everybody gasps in union

"Bacche nhi aaye?" Gulabo asks

"Nhi hum unhe surprise karna waale hai isilye unko school bheja hai" Shalini answers. Afterwards Gulabo and Ranvijay went to their rooms leaving others in the living room while they proceeded to celebrate the reunion and plan the surprise reunion for the kids......

TIME SKIP (HIGH SCHOOL):

ARHAAN'S (POV)

We had come back from Delhi after 12 years and instead of letting us celebrate maa and baba directly left us to attend school and told us strictly to not try and do any nuisance.

"Broo I'm so bored here..." Arhaan exclaimed to Aniket and Samarthya who were with him in the waiting area were waiting for someone to call them and show them their respective classes.

"Yeah it's so boring here, I don't know why baba decided to come back, it was way better in Delhi" Aniket said with a bored and kind of irritated tone.

"Heyy Ani c'mon you haven't even explored around yet it's just the school, that's boring, who knows you may like the place once you explore around" Arhaan said to Aniket with a somewhat defensive tone which he also didn't understand why he did that.

(After sometime)

A petite woman with black curly hair walked in the waiting area wearing a simple saree.

"Hello boys, I'm Mrs. Purushottam, the principal of the school. We welcome you whole heartedly and wish you a good time here"

Mrs. Purushottam introduced herself along with some well wishes.

"Good morning ma'am, I'm Samarthya Malhotra their guardian, this is Aniket and this is Arhaan. Our parents were busy with some important work hence they were not able to join us" Samarthya introduced them all.

"Goodmorning ma'am.." Aniket greeted her with a slight head bow down followed by Arhaan.

Mrs. Purushottam smiled at all of them and then turned to Samarthya "Mr. Samarthya you can wait in the lounge, our officials will meet guide you at my office after sometime, you can use the facilities provided. Aniket and Arhaan you both will be guided by our fellow students please follow me." Mrs. Purushottam said and started walking while we trailed after her.

"Great.. pehle hi din mein socializing" Aniket said and Arhaan slightly patted his shoulder

INAYA'S (POV)

I was in the corridor with my friends laughing and joking around when we noticed principal ma'am talking to 2 students who did not look much familiar. I have never seen her accompanying new students. They might be from some highly respected and wealthy family. I was just hoping she would not turn towards our group.

She has been very fond of us since the time we saved our sports day event from getting ruined. We were a group of 3. Me, Kavya and Esha. Kavya and Esha are my seniors but still we find time to meet each other during free or combined periods and breaks during the school hours. Kavya is my bua's daughter who lives in a different area but near our school.

"Looks like there are new admissions" Inaya says directing their friends attention towards them

"Oh yaar humare taraf aa rhe hai" Kavya sighs

"Good morning ma'am" we wished her together

"Good morning girls" she greeted us back

"This is Aniket and Arhaan.." she introduced them to us to which we exchanged some polite waves and hand shakes. "I have some work so you three show these 2 their classes." principal ma'am said

"But what about our classes?" I asked, acting innocently while looking at my friends who were doing the same thing.

"I have talked with your teachers, you can take your time showing them around and giving them a short school tour" she briefed us with the details and left from here. Me, Kavya and Esha shared happy knowing looks and followed whatever principal ma'am said.

"Omg! Free periods" Kavya exclaimed

"Yesss gurlll" Esha said and we all started shaking each other jokingly and giggled

"uhuhm" the boys cleared their throats, "We are here too" that Arhaan guy said

"Yeah yeah sorry" I said and we gave them the tour of the school and college

CAFETERIA

"Chalo guys truth or dare khelte hai..21 tak count karenge aur 3 teen se zada numbers ek turn mein nhi bol skte, Kay?" Shivani said and we all agreed

After a few rounds it landed on me and I chose dare "oyee inaya, i dare you to comment on that boy who's there outside the cafeteria. Jaise hi andar aayega bolna" Shivani dared me

I looked outside and saw that arhaan guy outside probably waiting for his brother and instantly a hatred look crept on my face
"Woh hi milla seriously kissi dhang ke ladke ko choose kar leti. I hate him so much" I said

"Kyuuu" they asked

"Are hua kya ki..." and I narrated them the whole story

"Acchaaa par still dare toh dare hota hai karna padega"

"Thik hai but what should I say.." I asked with mischief and excitement.

"Arey kuch bhi bolde inu." Shivani said and Marisha giggled like she had something in mind. We all looked at marisha with a confused and questioning look.

"I have something you can say," Marisha said with another fit of giggles. I raised my brow and asked "acha beta, what is it then"

She leaned closer to my ear and whispered something and as soon as she finished i burst out in a fit of laughter and nodded with excitement. Shivani looked confused but knew it would be worth the wait so they didn't question further.

We acted nonchalant and started walking around there trying to not show our little plan on our faces. We went near the door and as soon as he came I looked at that Arhaan guy and checked him up and down and said loud enough for him to hear.

"Yaarrrr...ye toh chalta phirta cocaine hai cocaine" I said, still eyeing him up and down and we looked at each other eye to eye. 

ARHAAN'S (POV)

I jerked my head up as soon as I entered. That girl who gave me the school tour passed a comment about me. I looked around to see if anyone had noticed but no one except me, Aniket and her friends heard what she said. Chi chi chii, maa papa ko yehi school mila tha kya. Chi kitni ajeeb ladkiyan hai. Mahadev BACHAOO!!

"wthh! Kya tha ye" Aniket whispered

"Ikr, upar se woh principal ki fav bhi hai. Ekdum naam ki tarah unki choice hai" I said and we giggled silently only to see that the girl was still looking at us. We looked at each other eye to eye, we had an 'eye contact' o.m.g , it felt beautifully weird.

"Oho bete ek hi line par flat, ab toh eye contact bhi ho gya" Aniket said

"Eww bhaiya I hate her smm chiii" I said

"She's not bad tho" he said I smacked his head with ignorance resting on my face and we moved from there to get our food.

INAYA'S (POV)

All 3 three of them giggled when they walked away

"Kya has rahe ho yaar tum log" I said

"Bro, that was so funny" Marisha exclaimed while laughing

"Seriously yaar, 100 ways to make your enemy hate you more" Shivani said and we all laughed

"Kya pata enemy se pyaar ban jaaye" Marisha said

"100 ways to make your enemy hate you more for a reason" I scoffed 

"Yeahh for sure" Shivani said

"But seriously yaar I hate him so much. Kutta kahika"

They all looked at each other and started laughing again and I also started laughing after looking at them. We might be looking like maniacs but now we were in the corridor so not many people were noticing.
